"These products work great for my hair! I am more than pleased with my results and will continue to use this system. I watched Dr Isfahan’s instruction videos before using the system to understand how to use each product and what to expect so I got good results. For example, understanding the shampoo is not a heavily lathering shampoo and is more for moisture, use it twice as recommended and I use water during the process, making sure the hair is thoroughly soaked as she also recommends. I think my hair is a mix of 4B/4C. My strands are fine but coarse and brittle. My hair is dense/thick at the roots. Low porosity. Yet some areas are not as brittle and seem to hold moisture better. The fine strands like to crisscross, tangle and migrate to each other. The frizz is out of control. I have spent the past 10 years learning my hair in its natural state and have still struggled with streamlining my process as well as being comfortable with what products to use for every step of my wash day. Now I have products for every step that all work well together to promote the health of my hair and I am no longer meal prepping for wash days. The guess work is gone, the product research is complete and I no longer have to commit half of my occasional weekends off to complete a wash “day”. Then be a prisoner to the process having to stay in the house on the weekends I plan to wash my hair. I am no longer afraid of my wash day or feel the need to block out days on my calendar to have the time to do it. With this system, I do have the opportunity to wash my hair on a weekly basis and that is my plan moving forward. For the first time I have been able to wash my hair and go out after. (I have not yet tried a wash and go, but was able to do the easiest/quickest twist do and received compliments). Combining these products with some of the other behaviors I have learned my hair prefers like using gloves to avoid snagging with my nails, doing prepoos, washing in sections (not too small, larger sections), sitting under heat during the deep conditioning and oil treatment, immediately apply a shower cap to my head between steps before stepping out of the shower and keeping the shower cap on the hair I am not working with to keep that hair moist until I get to that section and finally mechanically working my styling product into my strands. My hair is very course all over, dry and brittle in some areas. As I use this system to obtain longer lasting moisture to my hair by using it weekly as recommended, I will try a wash and go.
