Janessa Aneke is a graduate of Emory University where she received her bachelor's degree in Biology. She is currently a doctoral student at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology. Her ultimate goal is to work with governmental organizations like the WHO to develop and distribute novel therapies for malaria and tuberculosis in the face of rising drug resistance. Her passion for public health and scientific research has led her on this journey, and she hopes to make a global impact with her efforts.
