Dr. Tiffany Brunson-Emeran currently works as Senior Advisor to Programs, at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on legislative and policy associated issues related to laboratory testing. Dr. Brunson-Emeran earned a PhD in molecular genetics and a JD in law, with emphasis in administrative and healthcare law. Aside from her day job, she is part owner of the boutique publishing company, MBMA Group, based out of Atlanta, GA. The mother of energetic 8 month old twin girls, she enjoys impromptu dance sessions, Disney sing-alongs and story time with her girls. Dr. Brunson-Emeran seeks to encourage fundamental interest in the sciences as well as promote the value and importance of laboratory professionals in the healthcare system.
