Dr. Tia Harmon founder of the blog, The Unmad Scientist, holds a PhD in Biomedical Science from Morehouse School of Medicine. She recently published an article on a novel treatment for Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which predominantly affects African American women. Dr. Harmon’s greatest accomplishment is her two children, a college freshman and high school senior that both plan on pursuing doctoral degrees. As a black woman in STEM, Dr. Harmon aims to improve the lives of individuals suffering from health conditions by aiding in the development of more precise therapies.
