(Talking to future PhD Scientist at my alma mater Morehouse School of Medicine)
One of the central missions of Alodia Hair Care is to mentor young people, particularly young people of color that are interested in careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
When I started at Medgar Evers College in my hometown of Brooklyn New York, becoming a PhD level Scientist was not something that I considered because I wasn’t exposed to PhD scientist that looked like me and were from my similar background. The professors at the various institutes that I attended served as examples for me and their biology/chemistry research mentorship and confidence in my abilities played an instrumental role in my career.
In an effort to give back to the new generation of potential scientist and to inspire and encourage young people, Alodia Hair Care will showcase on this page, a Medical Doctor, Scientist, Engineer or Mathematician that is blazing trials and exceling in their various fields.
This page will also highlight the mentoring partnerships of Alodia.
