A customer recently asked me if biotin could help her hair to grow faster. She was taking a hair, skin, and nail supplement with a large amount of biotin in hopes of faster hair growth.

What is Biotin? It’s a part of the B-vitamin family of vitamins that metabolize fats and proteins for energy. In the U.S, we get a lot of biotin from the foods we eat.
